Ben Ginsberg at the Aspen Ideas Festival
Pillars of the Community Co-Chair Ben Ginsberg joined a panel discussion at the Aspen Ideas Festival to discuss both his findings from Pillars’s recent work and causes for hope:
“That bitterness that you see on the national level is not really reflected on the very local level, even in the most contentious jurisdictions. The people are much more concerned about peace and prosperity in the country and in their communities than they are about this national back-and-forth.” —Ben Ginsberg
“What gives me hope is going into the local communities, especially the most contentious ones, and seeing how the people in those communities really do want all of this to work and are willing to put aside the rhetoric. And then the election officials, who are putting on the election, give me a huge amount of hope.” —Ben Ginsberg
