Fox56: Election security boost: Luzerne County adds cameras to ballot storage room

Samantha Durante of Fox56 reports on the addition of cameras to the ballot storage unit room in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

Luzerne County is adding livestream cameras in the election room that will be holding the election ballots.

The decision comes as part of the county’s “enhanced security measures” for the election.

“We are committed to being transparent. There really is no better way to be as transparent than to have a live feed where all the ballots are stored. We’re handling the ballots correctly. We want a fair, free, and safe election,” said Romilda Crocamo, the Luzerne County Manager.
