Early voting across Georgia is underway now through Nov. 1. On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger confirmed that voters were reaching a record-breaking turnout for the first day of early voting in the Peach State.
Raffensperger talked with show host Rose Scott about several election-related topics, including how the state has prepared for this election cycle amid ongoing battles over State Election Board rules, hand ballot and machine ballot counting, combating political misinformation and the creation of the new voter registration cancellation website.
During the conversation, Raffensperger said he wanted Georgians to vote peacefully and to trust in the election process.
