WFMZ: County officials begin testing of election equipment
WFMZ reports on the beginning of election equipment testing in Berks County, Pennsylvania.
READING, Pa. – Testing of election equipment began in Mohnton Monday morning.
Berks County’s ballot-marking devices and precinct scanners started undergoing testing for logic and accuracy.
The appraisals kick off a month of equipment testing leading up to the 2024 General Election.
The county’s central scan high-speed tabulators will undergo their testing beginning October 25th.
Then, on October 28th, election officials say logic and accuracy tests on electronic poll books will commence.
