WISN: ‘UPFRONT’ recap: Harris says ‘everything is at stake’ in exclusive interview ahead of Election Day
Matt Smith of WISN reports on concerns of ubstantiated claims of election fraud.
Ben Ginsberg, former counsel to George W. Bush and Mitt Romney, and Bob Bauer, former White House counsel to Barack Obama, say they’re concerned about unsubstantiated claims of election fraud on election night and beyond.
Both are traveling the country as part of The Pillars of the Community, a bipartisan effort meant to increase confidence in the nation’s elections, and were recently in Wisconsin.
“My biggest fear on election night is that there will be unsubstantiated charges about the reliability of the system that will creep into the body politic and really destabilize a fundamental institution in America,” Ginsberg said. “Aside from that, I do believe that the counting will go along under bipartisan scrutiny to produce a result.”
